Informatics for Health Care in Central Cuba |

Havana.- Specialists from the Marta Abreu University, in the central province of Villa Clara, are working on an informative tool for the diagnosis of various ailments.
The objective is to create a program that will make it possible to determine Covid-19 or any other viral or bacterial pneumonia early, through the information provided by radiological images.
From a system that uses deep learning neural networks that examines X-rays, the effectiveness of the analysis increases up to 80 percent and the diagnosis is easier.
The tool is designed to be implemented in hospitals and can be adapted for other pathologies.
This mechanism is part of a macro project involving four hospitals in the capital, the University of Havana and the Center for Neurosciences of Cuba, among other entities.
