Use of Zeolite Promoted in Cuban Agriculture
Monday, September 28, 2020

Havana.- The Cuban agricultural sector promotes the use of zeolite as a component of various fertilizers used in the country to obtain food.

In this direction, the Geominera Camagüey company ensures the supplies necessary for its commercialization with the Logistics Business Group of the Ministry of Agriculture (GELMA).

This way, Agromena is obtained, the main ecological fertilizer derived from the mixture of magnesite, calcium carbonate, phosphate rock and organic matter with zeolite.

The aforementioned mineral provides the different nutrients that soils may need, as well as taxing or subtracting moisture as required by them.

It is also a component of NEREA, another fertilizer that carries nutrients of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, essential for various crops.
