Cuba's Major Coastal Resort Ready for International Tourism
Monday, September 14, 2020

Havana.- Varadero, Cuba's major coastal resort, has its tourist infrastructure ready to resume international operations.

Following the suspension of sector's activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the main hotels undertook an extensive repair and maintenance program.

Recently, the Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport in Varadero was evaluated and it was determined that it complies with the required health protocols.

Meanwhile, there are enough public spaces for frequent hand washing, together with the application of a rapid coronavirus test to foreign tourists arriving in Varadero.

Add to the abovementioned actions is the temperature check of those who arrive in the destination, as well as the existence of means of protection according to international regulations.
