Havana.- Cuba attracts the interest of Canadian tourists who bet on the Caribbean region to spend their vacations, according to the Internet company Travelzoo.
The firm's query shows that Canadian members chose Cuba as the Caribbean destination they would like to visit in the next two years.
For Canadians, after Cuba the Dominican Republic, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Bahamas and Barbados are on the list, as well as Jamaica, Aruba, Saint Lucia, St. Martin and Curacao.
Factors to consider include visitors' safety, travel deals, a low or declining number of Covid-19 cases, flight availability, and fewer restrictions, such as mandatory quarantines and curfews.
Travelzoo publishes offers for more than 2,000 travel, entertainment and local businesses such as restaurants and spas, has 30 million members in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, and 25 offices around the world.
