Cuban Expert at World Academy of Sciences |

Havana.- Cuban neuroscientist Roberto Rodríguez Labrada was elected a Young Affiliate member of the World Academy of Sciences.
The Cuban expert will be a member of that institution along with four other researchers from Latin America.
The doctor in Medical Sciences spent most of his career at the Center for Research and Rehabilitation of Hereditary Ataxias, in the eastern Cuban province of Holguín.
He also works at the Cuban Neuroscience Center and in 2019 he received the Carlos J. Finlay Order, the highest distinction awarded by the Council of State of Cuba in the field of scientific research.
In addition, he has received several awards from the Cuban Academy of Sciences, the International Brain Research Organization and the World Society for Movement Disorders.
