Havana.- Several foreign basketball leagues have welcomed several Cuban players in their teams.

In the Central American nation, Osmel Oliva was selected as the best player in the first week by scoring 85 points, reaching 27 rebounds and giving nine assists in the three games of his Costa Caribe team.

Cuban Yoel Cubillas also stood out with that club and was chosen the Most Valuable Player in the game against Brumas de Jinotega, in which he scored nine points, 13 rebounds and four assists.

In Europe, the Cluj Napoca team from Romania announced Karel Guzmán in its starting five for the season at the point guard position.

In Spain, Jasiel Rivero already played with the Hereda San Pablo Burgos, which beat RETAbet Bilbao Basket 85-75 in the fourth game prior to the Endesa League.
