Cuba Prepares Teams for Virtual Weightlifting Events |

Havana.- Cuba will be present in the world weightlifting tournaments in the under-17 and youth categories, to be held virtually.
The shortlisted team for the two events consists of some 40 athletes, taking into account those chosen for each team and their corresponding substitutes.
The objective is for everyone to start their training in the territories, in search of good conditions to leads to the expected results.
Until recently, the International Weight Federation (IWF) insisted on fighting the conventional way, but the prolongation of the Covid-19 crisis ended up advising the virtual modality.
It is worth mentioning that the 1st Pan-American Online Weightlifting Cup was held successfully recently, after which other events took place in Europe and Asia.
