Monday, September 14, 2020

Havana.- Cuban representatives excelled in the Virtual Artistic Swimming Challenge, in which several Central American countries participated.

The Cubans won prizes in three of the categories disputed in the contest, especially Alejandro Pando, who dominated the men's competition among those over 16 years of age.

Pando is the initiator of the male presence in the ranks of Cuban team and reached a total score of 13.5792 points in the Routine and Figure contests.

In the same category, the women's podium was led by Venezuela's Nicolle Salazar (14.3792), who was followed Cuban swimmers Gabriela Alpajón and Ciré Zufferri.

Meanwhile, the bronze medal went to Noelkis Sánchez, among children under 12 years old, who completed the virtual promotions to the podium, in a competition that only showed the exercises on the ground.
