Monday, August 10, 2020

Havana.- Cuba was chosen as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, according to the Travelers' Choice awards, granted by the travel website TripAdvisor.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, Cuba's attractions, the hospitality of its people and its safety have earned it second place among the ten most popular destinations in the Caribbean.

Likewise, Cuba ranked 19th among 25 destinations worldwide.

Meanwhile, in the beach section, Paraíso, on Cayo Largo del Sur, ranked third among the best beaches in the world, only behind Baia do Sancho, in Brazil, and Grace Bay Beach, in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Likewise, Varadero beach, located on the Hicacos peninsula and 130 kilometers east from Havana, ranked ninth in the Travelers' Choice.

The Travelers' Choice Awards reflect the best in customer service, quality and satisfaction, from hotels and accommodations to destinations, attractions, brands and products.
