Cuba and Colombia Equalize in Virtual Chess Tournament |

Havana.- The virtual chess series between Cuba and Colombia closed with 5.5 points for each team, and served as preparation for the online Chess Olympiad.
On this occasion, 11 of the scheduled matches were held, taking into account that chess player Ineymig Hernández had Internet problems during the game.
The series consisted of 15-minute games on the chess.com platform, in addition to cameras so that the player can be seen throughout the competition.
Experts highlighted the victories of Yasser Quesada and national champions Carlos Daniel Albornoz and Lisandra Ordaz, who defeated Cristian Ríos, Ingris Rivera Gabriel Cardoso, respectively.
In the official tournament, there will only be six boards in dispute, but for this event, it was agreed that the six reserve boards will also compete and use this option as part of their training.
