Havana.- Cuban Arlenis Sierra, a member of the Astana Women's Team cycling club, is in the elite of the World Tour in the road modality.
Sierra is in the seventh in the world ranking, where the group of riders who exceed 1,000 points is only surpassed by four cyclists from the Netherlands, one from Italy and one from Australia.
In the World Tour and now, she is fourth, with 320 points, the same number of units as the third place, Margarita García, from Spain, according to the ranking of the International Cycling Union.
It is worth mentioning that Astana is the seventh team on the women's world list, after dropping three places, while it is fifth on the World Tour.
The experts recalled that Sierra was runner-up on February 1 at the Cadel Evans Ocean Road Race in Australia, where she scored 320 points.
