Adverse Signs in Non-Hotel Activity in Spain |

Madrid.- Non-hotel activity in Spain reports adverse signs, with a noticeable drop in tourist accommodation in June, compared to the same month of 2019.
During the sixth month of the year, 583,625 travelers used a non-hotel establishment (apartments, campsites, rural tourism and hostels), where they spent 1.97 million nights.
These figures contrast with the 12.8 million overnight stays reported in the same period last year.
Thus, in the first half of the year, 16.28 million overnight stays were reported in this type of tourist accommodation, 66.5 percent less than in the same period of 2019 (48.66 million).
With 83.7 million foreign visitors, Spain was the second tourist destination in the world in 2019, just behind France and ahead of the United States.
