Costa Rica Prepares to Open Commercial Flights
Monday, August 3, 2020

San José.- Costa Rican authorities will resume commercial flights in August, with limited routes from Europe.

In this sense, it was defined that the recovery of the sector will be in accordance with strict sanitary protocols, always with the supreme conviction of ensuring people's health and life.

Thus, as a requirement, tourists must undergo a PCR test and obtain a negative result within 48 hours prior to travel.

Upon landing on Costa Rican soil, travelers must carry facial protection and comply with the protocol of the air terminal, respecting physical distance, disinfection in carpets and having their temperature taken.

The country received the Safe Travels seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), thanks to the implementation of 16 health protocols.
