New Packaging Line for the Cuban Economy
Monday, August 3, 2020

Havana.- The company Cepil, in the eastern province of Ciego de Avila, is making progress in the installation and testing of equipment for a packaging line.

With an investment of nearly four million dollars, the seven machines with their auxiliary equipment will take on the production of buckets for various clients.

The technology engraves and prints the label and brand of the product, according to the design proposed by the customers, and is suitable for manufacturing buckets, with capacities for 19, 10 and 3.8 liters.

With this line, the country will ensure this container, which can also be used to package other products, such as food, due to its resistance and sealing conditions.

Commissioning work has been affected by the inability of equipment manufacturers to travel to Cuba due to Covid-19.
