Ron Vigía S.A. Joint Venture Set Up in Cuba |

Havana.- The Zerus agency, owner of AzCuba shares, and the Spanish company Island Rum Brands SL, established the Ron Vigía S.A. joint venture.
The new firm will produce and export various kinds of beverages, made on the basis of this vintage name.
With validity for 30 years and a capital in equal parts, the company will operate in the vicinity of the Enrique Varona power plant, in central Ciego de Avila province.
Ron Vigía S.A. will also produce Black Tears, the first dry spiced liquor made with Cuban rum, and La Progresiva 500, a limited edition in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Havana.
Established in 2010, the AzCuba sugar group is the main national producer and supplier of sugar and alcohol, and operates more than 150 industrial plants throughout the country.
