Monday, August 3, 2020

Havana.- Cuba expressed interest in participating in the Ordinary General Assembly of the FIPV (international federation), convened online for October 20 coming.

According to sources from that sport, the agenda will address issues related to the scheduling of events in 2021, including two events in Cienfuegos.

The latter events are the world cup for the elderly and the under-22 jai alai contest.

Coupled with this, experts noted that in September, the main players would gather, with priority on the modalities in competition at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2022.

Among the competitions are frontball and those played in the 20- and 30-meter frontons.

When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Europe, the FIPV canceled all events during this season.
