Havana.- Cuba has the potential for the application and development of telemedicine, as part of the strategy in favor of health.
According to experts, this option is endorsed by the assistance provided by Cuban medical professionals to fight Covid-19 in several countries.
In addition, many patients with chronic illnesses that prevent them from traveling or people without medical coverage could be attended from Cuba.
This way, telemedicine would contribute to the export of services, especially since it does not involve people's mobility.
By having technological breakthroughs and exclusive medical treatments, some of them resulting from the joint confrontation of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cuba is in a position to exploit this healthcare alternative.
