Wholesale Market Operates for Cuban Private Sector
Monday, July 27, 2020

Havana.- The private sector has the services of a wholesale market in the Cuban capital, the first of its kind in the country.

The establishment will initially serve non-agricultural cooperatives and self-employed workers in gastronomic service in cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as a bakery-sweet shop.

Users will be able to access certain quantities of the products on offer, which will be increased according to the availability of the suppliers.

Likewise, two other such facilities will open in Havana, to be later extended to the rest of the country.

This option allows a profit margin in sales to pay taxes and wages, replenish supplies and offer the population a better service.
