Fishing Production Gains Dynamism in Camagüey |

Havana.- The Fishing Company of Camagüey works to boost exports, with plans to market more than 2,000 tons of food abroad this year.
Experts noted that external sales are prioritized in lines such as the swim bladders, which are in high demand in Asia.
Coupled with this is the consolidation of nearly 30 product lines with sausages and fillets for the international market and the local tourism sector.
The company's units focus on species above 250 grams such as snapper, sea bass and biajaiba, among others.
The food security of a population of more than 800,000 inhabitants in this region is a priority, as well as increasing production to meet the national demand, with value-added byproducts, in addition to fresh fish.
