Cuba Graduates More Sports Experts
Monday, July 27, 2020

Havana.- Sports activity in Cuba will benefit from the graduation of 543 professionals from the Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences.

In this school year, the best graduate was Yanisbel León, who achieved the Gold Title with an average of 4.89 points and participation in nine award exams and 25 scientific events.

Overall, 21 gold titles were awarded among graduates who belonged to the regular daytime courses (479), encounters (47), foreign students (four) and for athletes (17).

Among the latter, the captain of the national karate team, Cirelis Martínez, stood out as the best graduate.

Authorities noted that it was the 43rd graduation from the sports university, which in October 2023 will celebrate its 50th anniversary, but since now it is calling to dedicate every effort to that date.
