Natural Attractions for Cuban Public
Monday, July 27, 2020

Havana.- The National Botanical Garden, an emblematic institution in Cuba, was reopened to receive public interested in learning about its attractions.

The center has a new train with its locomotive and two wagons, completely repaired, as well as maintenance and investment works on roads and bridges in the Japanese Garden.

Together with this, a colorful 1,000-square-meter garden that will be inaugurated soon stands out, as well as the renovation of the ponds.

The scientific and educational mission of the garden is a priority over commercial management, which will imply pricing policies for the products and services that are marketed.

The National Botanical Garden occupies more than 550 hectares where it houses some 350,000 trees of more than 3,000 species scientifically ordered in 25 areas.
