Cuba Produces Drugs against Respiratory Diseases |

Havana.- The health sector in eastern Holguín province, assumed the development of drugs against various respiratory diseases.
In this direction, the production of 10 varieties of anti-catarrhal syrups stands out, as part of the territory's strategy to increase the presence of natural products in the pharmacy network.
According to specialists, the aforementioned formulas have expectorant properties, so they are prescribed to decrease flu symptoms in patients, especially cough.
Among the main lines, oregano, sugar cane, rosemary, aloe, onion, sweet orange and the imefasma syrup stand out, all of which are locally produced.
These medicines, along with those that are processed in the industry, including asmacan and the aqueous extract of vimang, also have these properties and are in high demand by the population.
