Gran Caribe Group Reactivates Operations in Varadero |

Havana.- The Gran Caribe group has resumed operations in Varadero beach, Cuba's major coastal resort, where it reopened four of its hotels.
In the first phase of recovery, the operation of Villa Tortuga, Kawama, Arenas Blancas, the SolyMar Complex, and the Meliá Internacional hotel were arranged.
Villa Tortuga and Kawama already welcomed national guests, while Arenas Blancas and Meliá Internacional began sales for reservations starting in July.
The hotels that restarted operations in this first recovery phase on the Hicacos Peninsula will do so at 60 percent of occupancy, according to the measures for this recovery phase.
Taking demand into account, hotels of various standards, from three to five stars, were reactivated.
