Domestic Tourism in Eastern Cuba
Monday, July 6, 2020

Havana.- The eastern province of Santiago de Cuba resumed the services for domestic tourists in several establishments of different hotel chains.

As part of the revival of the sector, six Campismo Popular bases and three Islazul hotels already operate in the province, including the Gran Piedra, San Juan and Balcón del Caribe hotels.

In the coming weeks, Las Américas and Costa Morena hotels will be added, while the Cubanacán group will start with the Sierra Mar and Versailles hotels.

The night activities of the Tropicana Santiago and San Pedro del Mar cabarets are held up by the investment process they are receiving, as is the El Morro restaurant.

Tourism must observe the mandatory hygienic-sanitary measures, including foot baths, hand disinfection and physical distancing.
