Cuba Boosts Production of Disinfectant Alcohol |

Havana.- In the first six months of 2020, the business group AzCuba, specialized in the sugar industry, produced a 62,000 liters of disinfectant and antibacterial gel alcohol.
Company executives pointed out that work is proceeding at a good pace and conditions exist to close the year with some 145,000 liters, as they have the necessary raw materials.
It is worth mentioning that the demand for this product grew exponentially due to its use to prevent contagion with the new coronavirus.
AzCuba has a Gel alcohol production plant, located in the capital, and plans to increase the production capacity of this byproduct by building another plant next year.
According to specialists, the gel protects the area where it is applied for four hours, eliminates 99 percent of germs and works better with pre-washing of hands.
