Cuba to Hold Consultations on Soccer |

Havana.- Sports institutions and the general public will take part in a popular debate on Cuban soccer, its current situation and plans for development.
Commissioners of that sport in Cuba pointed out that the objective is to seek criteria to enhance the strategy of that sport in the short, medium and long terms.
With this, it is intended to open a new horizon for the next 10 years, depending on contemporary demands and national development.
Suggestions for work at the grassroots and academies, material assurance, condition of the facilities and the schedule of competitions are expected during the consultations.
In addition, it is feasible to discuss actions to encourage the recruitment of players in foreign leagues to support the technical and competitive growth of athletes.
