New Call for Funds to Promote Cuban Cinema |

Havana.- The Cuban Cinema Promotion Fund launched its second call, with a view to promoting the development of national cinematography.
According to the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), the decision was made after several days of study and discussion about its cultural significance and financial feasibility.
On this occasion, the call opens in the categories of fiction, documentary and animated short films and feature films, project production and first film by a director.
These variants are added to those modalities included in the first call, such as script writing, development and post-production.
The creators registered in the Audiovisual and Cinematographic or Literary Creator Registers, as well as creation groups can apply for this project according to what is established in its bases.
