Meliá Group Bets on Tourism and Biosecurity

Havana.- The Meliá Hotels International company activated the corresponding hygiene and safety protocols in Cuba, with a view to reviving tourists in the country.

In this regard, the chain confirmed that the well-being of guests during their stay at its facilities is a priority for Meliá Cuba, hence the interest in applying the new levels of hygiene and safety that Meliá Hotels International develops globally through the Stay Safe with Meliá program.

The Stay safe with Meliá program, includes demanding health and safety protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO), and from the Ministries of Health and Tourism of the Republic of Cuba.

The measures also include cleaning areas and surfaces, maintaining safety distances in common areas and activities, as well as protecting contact personnel and digitizing services.
