Rehabilitation Services Reactivated in Western Cuba |

Havana.- The health system in the western Cuban province of Artemisa reactivated the operation of the 19 comprehensive rehabilitation halls in the territory.
The reopening was accompanied by a series of health measures to provide safe services, and the work of these facilities will be gradually modified with the progress of the recovery phases.
Initially, only electrotherapy, thermotherapy, gym and nutritional counseling consultations will be available.
Meanwhile, group or multidisciplinary therapies or those that represent an epidemiological risk such as hydrotherapy, defectology, podiatry, speech therapy and phoniatrics, early stimulation and prophylaxis for pregnant women remain suspended.
In this regard, disinfection points, constant cleaning of the surfaces with sodium hypochlorite solutions and staggered schedules for patient care were established.
