Cuban Hospital Celebrates Six Decades |

Havana.- The pediatric hospital in Villa Clara, in central Cuba, is celebrating its six decades of work with important contributions to children's health.
According to experts, the institution's work is characterized by low levels of mortality.
It is worth mentioning that the hospital, which has 263 beds, offers all the clinical and surgical services required for the care of children and adolescents, in addition to being declared a center of excellence in pediatrics.
Directors of the institution pointed out that some services are also provided for the population under 18 years of age in the central region of Cuba, including nephrology, neurosurgery and neonatal surgery.
In addition, the evaluation of children with growth disorders who receive hormone replacement therapy, from Cienfuegos to Camagüey, was included.
The hospital has a neonatal intensive care room and a new sterilization center.
