Havana.- Health services in the western Cuban province of Artemisa were resumed in several healthcare centers in the territory.
According to authorities from the sector, after 26 days without reporting Covid-19 patients, the gradual normalization of non-vital medical services that were suspended due to the pandemic began.
Thus, the scheduling of shifts for community outreach consultations was resumed, including orthopedics, endocrinology, urology and surgery.
They require the attendance of specialist in 19 polyclinics in all 11 municipalities of the province, as well as the performance endoscopy, minor surgery, stomatology procedures and rehabilitation services.
During this first phase, inpatients will be accompanied by a single companion, who can be relieved every 24 hours.
