Havana.- Cuban volleyball focuses on foreign clubs that are interested in recruiting local players.
It is worth mentioning that in 2016, four contracts were made and last year they reached 23, with the possibility of accounting for a total of 21 in 2020, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to experts, work is being done to increase the number of players in the strategic development projects of the Cuban Volleyball Federation (FCV).
In particular, they mentioned the inclusion of Cuban players in the Russian league, such as Ailama Cesé and Yamisleidis Viltre in the Uralochka club, which has welcomed the most important Cuban players in the last three decades.
The plans include negotiations with national teams from Brazil, France, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Turkey, Spain and Bulgaria.
