Havana.- Cuban beach volleyball players still aspire to compete in the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan), scheduled for 2021.
The options are concentrated in the tournament of the North, Central America and the Caribbean (NORCECA), which was ratified from June 23 to 28, 2021 in Colima, Mexico, where the women's team will have greater possibilities.
Sports officials pointed out Cuba's teams have made important results in the area.
It is worth mentioning that the United States and Canada qualified their two teams in the world ranking, which alleviates the pressure on the Cuban representatives.
The qualifying event in 2021 will take place with two men's and two women's teams per nation and the games won by both teams are added, both in the women's and men's contests.
