Cuban Coastal Resort Has First Sustainable Hotel in the Country |

Havana.- Varadero beach, Cuba's major coastal resort, offers the services of the first sustainable hotel in the country.
Meliá Hotel International highlighted the certification issued by the specialized consultancy Breeam International, which grants the category of Sustainable Construction to the Hotel Internacional Varadero.
This way, the aforementioned hotel becomes the first establishment of AEI ARCOS-BBI real estate to receive this international status.
In order to win this certification, indicators such as management, innovation, polluting emissions, energy and water expenditure, space use and ecology were analyzed.
The establishment began providing services in early 2019 and is currently one of the most emblematic facilities run by the Spanish chain in Cuba.
