Health Professionals Receive Training in Camagüey |

Havana.- In four decades, the University of Medical Sciences of the eastern province of Camagüey has graduated some 25,000 health professionals.
The students have graduated as experts in Medicine, Stomatology, Psychology and Health Technologies.
The institution also contributed to the training of more than 2,950 specialists from 50 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Oceania and Africa.
It is worth mentioning that 14 lines of research at the center have resulted in more than 700 projects currently under way in different modalities.
In addition to this, the Provincial Group for the Coordination of Clinical Trials directs a total of 19 studies of this type, mainly linked to the Cancer Program.
The University also participates in the active survey among the population with a view to identifying symptoms of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in the strategy to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
