Famous Cuban Orchestra Gets on Line
Monday, June 1, 2020

Havana.- The Cuban world-renowned orchestra Aragón is presenting its work on several digital platforms, including its latest CD, entitled Iconos (Icons).

The new record is considered a celebration on the group's eight decades.

Aragón Director Rafael Lay said that Iconos contains nine songs performed by the members of the group, without guests, and that it will be licensed by the Colibrí label.

The CD includes songs by different authors such as renowned flutist Jorge Leliebre, Joaquín Sabina, Alina Torres and Rafael Lay Jr.

The songs are Mira a ver quién es (known as Baila Catalina); Fuego, candela, and Quiéreme siempre, classics in the group's repertoire, among others.
