Roc Hotels to expand presence in Cuban market |

Havana.- The Spanish group Roc Hotels will run the hotel that will be renamed Roc Lagunas del Mar in Cayo de Santa María, with a five-star category and 800 rooms.
With this new facility, owned by the Gaviota group, the chain is positioned among the top five foreign chains in Cuba, with 2,077 rooms under its management.
This way, the Roc Lagunas del Mar, inaugurated in 2015, joins the Roc Arenas Doradas, Roc Barlovento and Roc Varadero in Varadero and the Roc Presidente in Havana.
These four four-star hotels belong to the Gran Caribe group, which recently signed a contract with Roc Hotels for the management of what will be Roc Varadero from November.
This year, the Roc Presidente Hotel won the Award from the German website HolidayCheck, as the best hotel in Havana, taking into account that only three hotels in the whole country achieved this recognition.
