Havana.- Cuban chess benefited from a contribution made to the country by the International Federation (FIDE), as part of the aid program run by the organization.
In this context, significant quantities of three models of digital clocks and smart boards with their parts were received, as well as bibliography is expected.
Sports officials highlighted the contribution, taking into account the delivery of the media to the comprehensive sports schools (Eide) and provincial academies.
The donation includes 500 DGT 1002 clocks, 30 from 3000 model and 49 from 2010 model, and the former ones will be delivered to the territories.
The highest level, such as the 3000 and 2010 models, which allow variety in the rhythms of the game and are coupled to the boards for live transmission over the Internet, and will be used for the national shortlisted team and the main competitions.
