Cuba Prepares Structures for Tourism
Monday, May 18, 2020

Havana.- Cuba is remodeling tourist facilities and implementing hygiene protocols to be taken into account when tourism is resumed in the country.

The Ministry of Tourism noted that taking into account the current Covid-19 situation in Cuba and in the world, hotel and extra-hotel services are being improved.

In addition, the development of hygiene and sanitary protocols are in place when tourist activities are resumed in Cuba.

The agency recalled that Cuban borders will not be opened, nor will tourist services be activated, until it is indicated by the government.

Authorities remain confident that they can recover the travel industry when the pandemic is over or conditions exist, an opinion reiterated on several occasions.
