Oncology Care in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The health system of eastern Santiago de Cuba guarantees oncology services thanks to the Conrado Benítez specialized hospital.
According to experts from the center, in late March, there was 102-percent compliance in operations and preliminary data shows a favorable result in April.
Given the importance of fighting cancer, efforts are made to support this important therapeutic modality.
The institution assumes gynecological, thyroid, head-neck and peripheral tumor surgeries, with surgical activity five days a week.
As for the waiting list, it is not long and the surgeries of those who wait are scheduled in a few days.
