GYDEMA Obtains Corn Oil in CUBA

Havana.- The company GYDEMA Cienfuegos, in central Cuba and the only one of its kind in the country, extracted more than 200 liters of corn germ oil.

Dedicated to the production of glucose and corn byproducts, the firm produced the sixteenth generic item in the industry, to which starch, feed and glucose, among others, are added.

From the existing conditions in the factory, the first oil was collected in the press of the machining workshop and the parameters were set.

According to the volume of the grain that is milled in GYDEMA, about 221 tons of crude germ oil can be produced in one year.

According to experts, at least three of the stages of the system are well conceived in laboratories and with encouraging results, and two phases remain to be completed, including discoloration and deodorization.
