Cuban Player Excels in Baseball in Japan |

Havana.- Alfredo Despaigne, a Cuban baseball player hired by the Japanese team Softbank Hawks, was chosen by fans to join the dream team of the last ten years.
According to a poll by the specialized website Baseball King, readers voted for their favorite players of the past ten years in each position.
In Despaigne's case, he was the winner as a designated hitter.
It is worth mentioning that the Cuban player debuted with the Softbank Hawks in the 2017 season, and his power has been vital in the three consecutive titles won by the club, with 100 home runs and 265 RBIs in three years.
US closing pitcher Dennis Sarfate was the other foreigner on the list, along with Japanese opening pitcher Tadashi Settsu, reliever Yuito Mori and catcher Takuya Kai.
