Community Cultural Project in Support of Health |

Havana.- The Artistic Laboratory of San Agustín (LASA), a cultural project based in the Cuban capital, made an important contribution to health in the country.
LASA executives made a contribution to the Pedro Kourí Institute of Tropical Medicine (IPK), the leading center in the confrontation with Covid-19 in Cuba.
As part of the initiative of the cultural project codirected by European curator Aurélie Sampeur, a total of 10 beds were delivered for the institution's on-call doctors, in addition to the donation of some 500 facemasks, and money in freely convertible currency collected by LASA members was deposited in the single account of the Ministry of Public Health.
LASA has had the collaboration of the French Institute, the Franco-German Cultural Fund, the Goethe Institute in Havana, the French embassies in Cuba and Toronto and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Havana.
