Meliá Resumes Operations in Chinese Market |

Beijing.- The Meliá Hotels International group has recovered its activities in the Chinese market with the resumption of operations in several of its establishments.
It is worth mentioning that the Spanish chain has six hotels in China, and has already reopened four, while waiting for the go-ahead for the Meliá Shanghai Hongqiao and the Meliá Shanghai Parkside.
Likewise, the staff of the chain in China has gradually returned to the office with precautions.
Several subsidiaries of Spanish brands are also finalizing the details to resume operations in China, including Inditex, which expects to reactivate some 500 establishments.
The strategy to confront Covid-19 applied by Chinese authorities was reflected in a reduction in the number of infected people, even in Wuhan.
