Cuba Suspends Arrivals of Passenger Flights
Monday, April 6, 2020

Havana.- Cuba suspended regular and charter passenger flights in the country's airports, as part of the measures taken to fight Covid-19.

According to industry sources, only humanitarian and exceptional operations, and cargo flights are maintained at Cuban airports.

Likewise, the departure of all foreign recreational vessels found in Cuban territorial waters was ordered.

To this end, authorities took measures with a view to ensuring that this process is done rationally and without affecting international standards, while maintaining contact with international aviation organizations.

Health evaluations show the prevalence of imported Covid-19 cases, with people arriving from countries where the disease exists.
