Cuban Tourism Sector Develops Strategy due to Covid-19 |

Havana.- The Cuban tourism sector has readjusted its strategy in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, with measures aimed at supporting the official policy to fight the disease.
In this direction, tourists in hotels are kept in isolation, while actions to evacuate international visitors are promoted.
Many of them were transferred to the hotels from private accommodation, with a view to facilitating their return to the countries of origin.
The departures of international visitors would be mainly for nations such as the United States, Russia, Spain, Germany and Canada.
In addition to this, in hotels without guests, maintenance and decoration programs began, with a view to guaranteeing a prompt resumption of operations when conditions exist.
