Cuba Expands Tests to Detect Covid-19 |

Havana.- The Cuban health system is finalizing the details to expand the coverage of the tests to detect new positive cases of the new coronavirus that causes Covid-19.
Experts pointed out that rapid tests that show a result in 30 minutes will be used in people who are already in isolation centers and those who arrive in the country.
Coupled with this, Cuba has more than 40,000 tests in real time, which consist of a molecular diagnosis that will allow testing more people.
Thanks to all this, it will be possible to detect more people infected with the new coronavirus in the country.
Access to these means was possible thanks to the support of the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) and countries like China and France, which facilitated the acquisition of these diagnostic kits.
