Cubadisco Event Postponed for 2021 |

Havana.- The Cuban Music Institute decided to postpone the 24th edition of the Cubadisco International Music Fair for 2021.
The decision responds to the global epidemiological situation caused by the increasing spread of the new coronavirus that causes Covid-19.
The most important festival of the recording industry in the country will be held between May 15 and 23, and the musical and audiovisual works that competed for the 2020 Cubadisco Award will remain in competition until 2021.
In addition, the special plan for the promotion of the musical materials in competition, designed in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television and several digital platforms, remains active.
The works competing in the contest for the Cubadisco Awards in its seven theme areas come from all four official recording labels (Egrem, Bis Music, Colibrí and Abdala), as well as independent productions based on the jury's verdict.
