Havana.- The team that represented Cuba in the Wrestling pre-Olympic fight in Ottawa (Canada) is currently in home isolation, to avoid infection with Covid-19.
Wrestling officials have indicated that the 27-strong delegation spent more than 10 days in Canada, and therefore were subject to sanitary quarantine.
The Cubans reaped another 10 Olympic tickets, especially those in Greco-Roman style, who will perform in Japan with complete equipment.
Thus, the island country boasts 12 places, which could be joined by three more athletes with potential to classify, as in the cases of Milaimys de la Caridad Marín, Reineris Andreu and Yurieski Torreblanca.
