Havana.- Cuba´s Mijaín López, a three-time Olympic champion of Greco-Roman wrestling, aspires to win a fourth gold at Tokyo Olympics.
The outstanding athlete previously won Olympic titles in Beijing-2008, London-2012 and Rio de Janeiro-2016, as well as the world titles in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2014.
Likewise, he has never been defeated in Pan American Games, since his debut in Santo Domingo-2003, and the same goes for the Central-Caribbean competitions since his victory in Veracruz-2014.
López is currently pinning his hopes on the Tokyo-2020 Games, finally postponed due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus.
Insiders consider López to be in excellent shape, as demonstrated by his remarkable performance in the last German Bundesliga, after which he kept his body weight at 133 kilograms during training sessions in Canada.
